MLA member: Adam Bouthot
Occupation: Business Manager for Get Fresh Farms
Why involved with the MLA: I love the MLA! I also love Northeast Indiana and want it to be the best place in Indiana.
Other activities: I am the Director of Living Fort Wayne Concert Series, am part of the YLNI Farmers Market Committee and am involved with Arts United Young Professional group.
One fun fact: I ate 12 blazing hot wings from Buffalo Wild Wings in 1:36 without any napkin or drink!

Occupation: Air Service and Community Relations Manager at Fort Wayne International Airport
Other activities: I have been a Big through Big Brothers Big Sisters for 10 years.
One fun fact: I wore braces on my legs when I was a toddler…just like Forrest Gump.

MLA member: Katie Miller-Sweet
Occupation: Student at IPFW
Why involved with the MLA: I feel that there needs to be more individuals advocating for the after because there is so much potential here.
Other activities: I am a part of IPFW Ambassadons and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
One fun fact: I love to sing at any given time.

Occupation: Computer Programmer
Why involved with the MLA: The opportunity to be involved in the community and meet new people is awesome. I love being plugged in to what’s going on.
Other activities: I work at Fort Wayne Trails as the grant writer.
One fun fact: I also work as a sign language interpreter and have interpreted everything from mundane work meetings to surgeries in the O.R. where the patient was awake during surgery!

Why involved with the MLA: A way to network with young professionals in Northeast Indiana and a way to represent LaGrange County.
Other activities: I am involved in several community health networks through Parkview.
One fun fact: I grew up on a farm riding horses.

Why involved with the MLA: I love Northeast Indiana! There are a lot of great things happening in our region, and I want to get others excited and spread the word.
Other activities: I am involved with Whitley Forward, United Way of Whitley County’s PR/ Marketing Committee and Day of Caring Committee.
One fun fact: I actually enjoy cleaning my house, and I could eat sushi every day.

Sonya Snellenberger
Occupation: Millennial 2020 Specialist at the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership
Why involved with the MLA: The view of Northeast Indiana has drastically changed from my childhood. I’m so excited that so many Millennials have decided to call Northeast Indiana home. I want to be a part and spread the positive energy.
Other activities: I’m a graduate student at IPFW; I am a member of YLNI; and I am a Big through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
One fun fact: In my world, peanut butter is a food group!

MLA member: Lauren Zuber
Occupation: Vision 2020 Coordinator at the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership
Why involved with the MLA: I wanted to help push for growth in Northeast Indiana to make it an awesome place for young people. Now that I am a Regional Partnership staffer, working with the MLA always energizes me. I love seeing the program and enthusiasm.
Other activities: I am a board member for Fort Wayne Museum of Art and am the editor of my neighborhood association newsletter.
One fun fact: I firmly believe that cake is an appropriate breakfast food!
